Photo Manipulation

I do a lot of photo restoration and enhancement, from very damaged photos to those just needing some color adjustments. I enjoy doing restorations because the photos are always important to the client.

But lately, I’ve been called upon to manipulate photos for various reasons. For example, a donation is made to a college in the name of someone who is diseased. The college needs a memorial for the donation, but no portraits of the individual are available. Just a few random photos. That’s when the college asked me to create portraits from random photos.

Or, for example, the couple who had a photo of a grandfather and another of his wife but wanted one photo of them together. Both photos had to be restored, and one had to be colorized, but I got the couple together.

Or take the house with a beautiful pool, which needs to be photographed in the middle of the winter. Hardly the best way to sell the pool, unless you can uncover its summer glory.
