Lubbock Historical Homes
I began to see that many of the historical homes in Lubbock either had no photography, or very poor photography, and many had very limited descriptions. Therefore, I made it a project to photograph these houses and describe as many as possible. Lubbock is not a terribly old city, but that doesn't mean that we can't be proud of our heritage. The oldest house I know of so far is the A. B. Davis Home built in 1911. As of this writing, I am still working on this project actively adding new houses, and I may continue for some time.
I also want to add that I do paid real estate jobs very differently. I actually try to be as unobtrusive as possible on these historical houses. I don't get as close and I don't swoop into backyards, for example. In fact, I prefer that the residents never know I was there. Many of the photographs are from higher angles. But I hope you enjoy this bit of Lubbock history.
