Sorry for not posting much in my blog. I will get more frequent, but I’ve been working very hard on a community project for the Depot District in Lubbock. This has always been a favorite place of mine since its creation. I would like to see it better promoted and so as part of my community service, I’m creating a fairly comprehensive video. I’m also experimenting with animation int he video in order to attract and hold social media’s attention.
I have an extensive background in animation and this video employs about six different subsystems including Daz3 and Adobe After Effects to accomplish the small amount of animation shown in the video. 
I don’t know if the animation wills survive the final cut as I plan on soliciting the opinions of some of the business owners in the district. It has taken some time for me to collect all the footage and I’m almost finished. I would expect to release the video in the very near future.  
Afterwards, I think my next community service project will be parks in Lubbock, of which there are many nice ones.
